헷 즈바르테 샤르 최고의 워킹 & 하이킹 경로

The Zwarte Schaar is a beautiful meander of the IJssel. In 1954, this 6 kilometer long bend was partly cut off from the IJssel. The result is a nature reserve full of small islands, some small beaches, many birds and recreationists on boats.

If you walk from Doesburg to Dieren, you can actually follow the meandering IJssel the entire time. With your gaze set on infinity, you stroll along the dike, with the water as your companion.

A really beautiful section of the IJssel. The small islands, a few small beaches and many animals and boats are in the water there. You can even see cows climbing into the cool water to cool off.

The path on the dike is wonderful for biking and hiking. From Doesburg to IJsselstrand-Camping it is also very varied and you can always see a lot left and right. But after that beach camping it gets more and more monotonous and you can really see who is coming to visit the next day! *wink*

Nice rest area at the marina

Here the cycle path leads along the backwater of the IJssel with sometimes beautiful views of the wetland with often many birds.

Actually a nice route, a bit monotonous for walking, more suitable for cycling.
