Ogunquit, pronounced oh-GUN-kwit, is a beautiful family friendly beach. Visitors and residents can create sand castles, fly a kite, go swimming, or collect seashells. Swing by Bayley's Lobster Pound to enjoy fresh seafood on the pier. This family owned and operated business has been here since 1915 and serves a plethora of seafood. You can even have fresh seafood shipped to your home.

Rogers Park, located behind the Kittery Community Center, has wonderful easy trails, beaches, picnic tables, and benches. Dogs are allowed, but beware of deer ticks. The community center was built in 1943 and was originally an elementary school. Today the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Surfside Beach, lies along a 7-mile expanse between the Scarborough and Saco rivers. While running, witness the impressive maneuvers of surfers on the waves. With a lively summer scene and numerous eateries and shops, it offers a delightful backdrop for your run

Clifford Park in Biddeford offers an expansive and challenging trail system, catering to both avid mountain bikers and hikers in its 240-plus acres. The singletrack trails, characterized by twists, rocks, and roots, provide a technical challenge for bikers, while the outer loop offers a more accessible experience for casual walking and riding. The trailhead near the tennis courts serves as the starting point for most users. The park also features tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, basketball facilities, a mini skate park, picnic areas with charcoal grills, and horseshoe pits. Shared with bikers, runners, and snowmobilers, snowshoers, and cross country skiers in the winter, Clifford Park stands out as a community gem with diverse recreational opportunities for people of all ages and ability levels.

The whole area is amazing. It's full of trails so you can choose to make your tour longer or shorter. Great place to escape from city life.

Looking over Sandy Cove from Ocean Avenue you can see the Walker's Point peninsula. It is owned by the Bush family and is known as the Bush Compound, the summer residence of George H. W. Bush.
