A nice finish of northern Kungsleden

Very beautiful hike to the top of the waterfall. You cannot see much of it from there if you’re not leaving the trail, but the view is amazing.

The path to the waterfall is very beautiful. But you can't see much of the waterfall itself from above. If you don't want to leave the path, you won't see much of it.

In the middle of the path between the road and the waterfall. Great view. You can see very far into the day.

Not far from a parking lot on the street, this bench can be reached via an easily accessible boardwalk.

Intermediate Hike up to Lulep Gierkav, from STF Saltoloukta it is 730 height meters and 8km. Stony, but with little stone towers marked to find the right way! You can see all the way to Kebnekaise in good weather.

The Saltoluokta refuge is, like that of Abisko, one of the largest built on the Kungsleden. You will find all the amenities there: accommodation, food, groceries, equipment rental, and even WiFi. Easily accessible by boat, the refuge makes an ideal base camp for exploring the region. Its picturesque setting, nestled between Lake Langas and its nearby mountains, will delight more than one.

This highlight is not called Sitojaure Fjällstuga (which is 19 km south) but Saltoluokta Fjällstuga - the best in all of Sweden! Sensational multi-course meal in historic matsal (dining room).
