Serpentinen은 부드럽고 잘 만들어진 연속적인 지그재그 구간으로 산을 따라 구불구불 이어지는 흐르는 듯한 내리막길입니다. 가파른 경사를 더 관리하기 쉽게 만들기 위해 설계된 이 트레일은 Åre와 아래 계곡의 전망이 펼쳐지는 점진적이고 지속적인 내리막 경험을 제공합니다. 일반적으로 산 상부 지역과 마을을 연결하는 초보자 친화적인 MTB 경로로 사용됩니다.

The 826 meter high Totthummeln is - along with Åreskutan and Mullfjället - one of the three peaks of Åredalen. Not many people climb the summit in winter, but in summer it is a popular hiking and excursion destination. The Totthummeln is the fastest accessible and most weather-protected of the three peaks. If you cover the entire route from the valley on foot, you have almost five kilometers of hiking distance and around 420 meters of altitude ahead of you. The tour lasts about an hour and a half, but you should allow more time as you may want to stop more often and enjoy the view or even take a detour to Teddy Rock.

The central square of the town of 3,000 inhabitants is Åre torg. It is surrounded by hotels, restaurants, discos and shops. This is where locals and hordes of holidaymakers come together to enjoy the attractions of this ski resort, one of Sweden's oldest and most important.

In the film adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's "Ronja the Robber's Daughter" filmed here, the Ristafallet is called Glupafallet.

The Ristafallet waterfall on Åreälven is not far from the European route E 14. A forested island divides the fall - which is almost completely frozen in winter - into a northern and a southern section. The entire fall is fifty meters wide, fourteen meters high. Depending on the season, the flow is 100 to 400 cubic meters of water per second. The moist environment of the waterfall has created a special nature with special lichens, grasses and animals, which has been given protection status by the Swedish state.

If you want to come here by car there is a parking space at the campsite. There you have to pay a fee.
