The Cedar River Flow campsite is, as the name suggests, a campsite on the banks of the Cedar River Flow. The primitive campsite is first come, first serve. There is a table at the site, but nothing else.

The Cedar River Flow is a 640‑acre shallow reservoir formed by the Wakely Dam on the Cedar River. The Northville-Placid Trail runs alongside the water and there are several lean-tos along the bank of the reservoir.

Lake Pleasant is one of many picturesque lakes in the Adirondack Mountain region. There is a park with beach on the north end of the lake where the public can access the water. Most of the rest of the shoreline is taken up by private residences.

Auger Falls is accessible via a short loop hike from here. It's a quick walk but be careful near the waterfall as the ledges can be slippery. If you're passing by on a hot day there's also a swimming hole near the bottom to cool off in.

These beautiful falls sit along an accessible and well-maintained loop trail that runs parallel to the Sacandaga River. They are great for a short family hike or an add-on to a day hike in the area.

This is one of the Adirondacks' highest waterfalls and a really cool sight when it is full. The trail is a nice, cleared path that takes you through diverse forest with plenty of wildlife. It is mostly packed terrain, so it is good for a trail run, but watch out for roots and brush in some spots.

The effort of the climb is rewarded by spectacular views of the mountains mixed with the surrounding lakes. At the top, there is a tower that is open to the public. If you like heights, this is your chance.
