When we were there, the lake was frozen over. The atmosphere was very special.

Tjörnarp Church is a striking 19th-century landmark in Tjörnarp, built in 1864 with a distinctive golden-ochre plaster finish over grey stone. It stands near the ruins of the original medieval church, offering a fascinating historical contrast. A key highlight is stepping inside to see the 12th-century sandstone baptismal font preserved from the old church that connects the current building to its ancient roots.

This view of Lake Tjörnarpa is a scenic spot that offers calming views across the water, framed by lush beech forests and reed beds that are home to a variety of waterfowl, including grebes and herons. It is a perfect place to pause for a rest or a swim at this bathing area.

Nice place to stay the night! With 12 sleeping spots in 2 shelters there is plenty of space. There also is a toilet at the parking lot about 300 meters away and a larger shared barbecue area. By the lake you will find something like a "wood vending machine" where you can buy a bundle of wood for 40 SEK.

A very nice campsite with a pool, mini-golf course, and a playground. You can rent cabins, rooms, or a pitch for your RV or tent. The small, hobbit-like grottos on the site are also very interesting.

Skånes Djurpark is a very special zoo dedicated exclusively to Nordic animals. It offers you a rewarding break from the saddle to see moose, wolves, and other wildlife.

Here you can take a well-deserved break on the wooden benches. There is also a drinking water pump and a BBQ pit. A perfect place to relax surrounded by nature.

The original structure dates to the late 1100s and was built by the same master stonemason who worked on Lund Cathedral. Höör Church is a great stop on a cycling tour, offering a glimpse into medieval architecture and local history.
