A scenic 7.5 km lighted trail west of Upplands Väsby, ideal for running or walking. Gently hilly, marked with yellow and white signs, and partly prepared for skiing in winter. Surrounded by ancient forest, perfect for outdoor activities.

This path takes you through dense woodland with occasional open spots, giving glimpses of Järvafältet’s serene forest landscape.

Here you’ll find basic but welcome toilets next to the trail, perfect to reset before the rest of the route.

One of Stockholm’s largest contiguous green areas, Östra Järvafältet offers open farmland, mixed forests, wetlands, and quiet lakes just steps from the city. The reserve is threaded with walking, running, and riding trails, and its cultural landscape still shows traces of ancient settlements and old farmsteads.

A quiet stretch of mixed forest with soft gravel ground and plenty of shade. The path is easy to follow and offers a nice glimpse of the typical woodland landscape in this part of Görväln.

Görvälns Slott is a peaceful lakeside manor with a beautiful courtyard and gardens — a perfect place for a break. The on-site restaurant and café serve quality food and pastries.

A peaceful section of the trail that leads you straight through quiet, mixed forest. Soft ground underfoot, tall trees all around and plenty of calm moments along the way.

Around Översjön there are several barbecue areas directly by the lake. Please be aware, that lighting fires is only allowed in these designated areas (but also depending on seasonal circumstances). This place is always perfect for a little break, though. :-)
