To get to Puerto del Rey (1,132 m) we have to climb quite hard, also on a gravel road. This port was an important mountain pass during the Modern Age from the Plateau towards Andalusia. It is located within the Despeñaperros natural park, a protected space, excavated by the Despeñaperros river. Resting after the good climb, you can enjoy the typical flora of the entire Sierra Morena, especially holm oaks, cork oaks and pines.

Reservoir that collects the waters of the Río Guadalimar and that extends over a good number of hectares. There are three other reservoirs in this area.
