The beautiful Camí de la Solana connects the Toll de l'Olla pool with the beautiful village of Farena.

The Toll de l'Olla hides a legend behind it. It is said that it was created by a "farebona" (a good witch). At the beginning of the 17th century, the residents of the area fell ill and asked him for help. She made a deal with them: she would look for the herbs needed to cure them and they should look for a pot that would hold a liter of water per sick person. When the neighbors failed, the farebona converted this part of the river into the Toll de l'Olla.

The Monastery of Santa María de Santes Creus is a Cistercian abbey built in the 12th century. The grandeur of the monastery is due to the donations received from the nobility who wanted to be buried here.

Pont d'Armentera is a town in the Alt Camp region (Tarragona) that has a long history. Of Roman origin, the first settlers settled when the aqueduct that fed the ancient Roman city of Tarraco (modern Tarragona) was built. In the northwest of the town there is a very well preserved Roman aqueduct (known as Pont de les Femades and restored in the 18th century) that carried the waters of the Gaià to Tarraco. This use of the waters of the Gaià reached the streets of the town, where various canals were built to feed both the important textile industry that developed from the 14th century onwards and the wheat mills.
