The Mikado 141F-2415 locomotive is a preserved steam locomotive on display as a monument in Albacete's Linear Park, very close to the Flour Mill in the Industria neighborhood. It is located within the Linear Park, along the Paseo de la Cuba section, an area formerly occupied by the railway tracks before they were buried underground.

With the patronage of "John the Baptist," this parish has chosen a saint who is considered a forerunner of Jesus Christ. In Christian theology, he is the voice of one crying in the wilderness prophesied in the Old Testament book of Isaiah: "A voice calls out: 'In the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God!'" (Lutheran Bible). John is the son of Zechariah and Elizabeth, who was visited by the Blessed Virgin Mary when she learned from the Archangel Gabriel that she herself would give birth to Jesus Christ, and her—until then childless—relative was still pregnant in old age. The feast day of San Juan Bautista in the calendar of saints is June 24.

Abelardo Sánchez Park is the largest urban green space in Albacete and one of the city's most iconic landmarks. It was inaugurated in 1911 and has had several names over the years, including Canalejas Park and Martyrs Park. Its current name honors Mayor Abelardo Sánchez, who promoted its construction.

Attention. On April 8, the Albacete-Alcaraz greenway was closed due to highway construction in Balazote. A metal fence completely blocks the road, and I couldn't continue because no one could tell me how many kilometers of the stretch were closed to traffic.

The Cathedral of San Juan Bautista in Albacete is an impressive Catholic temple located in the historic center of the city. Its construction began in 1515 on the remains of an old Mudejar church and was completed in 1949.
