Penally is just a short hop from the popular seaside resort of Tenby and gives access to some glorious coastline. Nearby Giltar Point is particularly scenic, with views out to Caldey Island and even to the distant island of Lundy on clear days. Penally's limestone cliffs are home to razorbills, fulmars and various species of gull – a real treat for birders.

When you reach Giltar Point you have a number of places to sit, relax and muse about... A walk to Giltar Point will reward you with beautiful views over Caldy Island. Be a little more adventurous, but also careful, and scramble to the head of Giltar Point. Please note, there are dangerous cliffs, so always be careful and consider your skills relative to the terrain you are on.

Freshwater East is a beautiful sheltered bay. Behind the beach is Freshwater Bay Caravan Park which has a Café/restaurant, open in season. If you're heading North out of the village Trewent Hill is a moderately short, steep pull.

Manorbier Castle is located in a stunning position with views over the beautiful Manorbier beach and bay and backed by a pretty little village. It's a Norman construction with fairy-tale turrets, a great hall, a chapel and landscaped gardens. It's sure to make a memorable visit.
