Located at 1609 meters, on one of the highest peaks of the Jura, the hotel's views of the plateau, the Alps and the Three Lakes are breathtaking. Sit on the terrace or in the dining room to refuel after a walk in the Chasseral Regional Park. The hotel is easily accessible by bus, car or on foot, along one of the magnificent hiking trails.

Here at 1400m above sea level you have reached the tree line and you already have a great view and the destination in sight.

This is the Eglise catholique. The Catholic church, built in 1938 from yellow stone from Hauterive, was consecrated to Saint Blaise in 1939. The interior is the work of the painter Théophile Robert (1879-1954). The Fribourg architects have created a simple and beautiful refuge. 50 m towards the lake (the cure 80 m). If you come down from Chasseral, you can turn left after the village of Nods towards Enges. You will warm up again a bit when you climb the 120m. At the top you have a view of Lake Neuchâtel and can then plunge into the descent. It is a leisurely 500m downhill with a 6-8% gradient over 8.8km to Saint-Blaise. You can just let it roll :-)
