A beautifully located hut in the middle of the glacier with a view of the Lej da Vadret down to Pontresina. The hut keepers are extremely nice, funny and helpful. Tips for tours are also available at any time. The food is very good for the circumstances (helicopter supply) and always sufficient. All in all well worth a visit for a night or a tour of the area.

From Fuorcla Surlej, which you can either laboriously climb from Val Roseg or reach by cable car from the north, you have a fantastic view: Many small rocks invite you to linger for a long time. From here you are very close to the large glaciers of Piz Roseg and Piz Palü, the highest peak in Graubünden. There is also a small lake right next to a hut with refreshment stops.
