Between Mansilla de la Sierra and Villavelayo is the Mansilla reservoir. It has a bathing area past Mansilla de la Sierra where in summer you can stop and cool off. Riding along the road next to this body of water is one of the cyclists' incentives in this area.

There is a platform as a swimming pool, with springboards and slides and a couple of surfboards to be able to use as long as you leave everything as you found it to cool off, the water is very good in summer and the site is very quiet and very well maintained . Highly recommended
