Aísa is an Aragonese municipality located in the region of La Jacetania (Huesca). It belongs to the judicial district of Jaca. The towns of Candanchú, Esposa and Sinués are also part of its municipal area. The Candanchú ski resort is also worth mentioning. At the beginning of 2011, the town of Aísa had a population of 159 inhabitants.

The Col de Somport is on the border between France and Spain at 1,632 meters above sea level. It has the particularity of being above the tunnel of the same name which is one of the most important crossing points in the Pyrenees. The climb, on the French side, begins in the village of Accous. It is 28 kilometers long for an average of 4.3%. The road really begins to rise from the village of Urdos.

Interesting (although in my opinion, a bit long) visit to the Canfranc station, so famous in its time that it gave its name to the town itself, Canfranc Station.
