Having seen this tunnel by driving through, I would not be comfortable cycling through it: in the the descending, west direction, there is only one lane for all traffic, with cones preventing overtaking using the adjacent lane, so you will be holding up following traffic. In the ascending direction, there are two lanes, so you can be overtaken, but with the lower speed uphill, you will be in the tunnel much longer. Maybe it would be acceptable at a very quiet time.

Tunnel is very safe for cycling. Speed limit is 50 km/h, and the tunnel is well lit

From this point, you'll enjoy incredible views of the Broto Valley. Hopefully, you'll have good weather and be able to see all the way to the bottom of the valley.

Spectacular models...not to be missed!

A 28 km long but not particularly difficult climb. The heavy traffic is annoying and there is no shoulder after the tunnel behind Escarrilla, but the panorama is still first-class!

The Cotefablo Pass is a mountain pass located in the province of Huesca between the towns of Biescas and Broto.

There are only two in Spain with these characteristics, the one in Pamplona and this one, guided tour, museum of Military Miniatures, very well preserved

Visiting the fort is worth it...very beautiful miniatures of soldiers on beautiful models
