The Basilica of San Vicente in Ávila is one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Spain. Built between the 12th and 14th centuries, this basilica is dedicated to the martyrs Vicente, Sabina, and Cristeta. According to tradition, these brothers were martyred in 306 during the Diocletian persecution.
