A wonderful walking path, but not ideal for cycling (there are lots of walkers in good weather). The last section before Gandria consists of a long flight of stairs. Those traveling by bike usually leave their bikes at the bottom of the stairs and walk the rest of the way.

We only did the first section, from top to bottom. It cost 2 francs for an adult. But it's a beautiful experience and you can see the lake glistening in the sun. After the first section you have to cross the road and continue up to Monte Brè.

From this point you can take the path in the woods to get to Bre. It is worth it instead of the asphalt road
