The Maghery Footbridge on the edge of Lough Neagh offers a small moment of peace in the midst of the expansive landscape. Omagh is the county town of County Tyrone which plays host to a number of festivals and events throughout the year. A market town, there are plenty of places to stop to eat or drink and you can't fail to notice the twin spires of Sacred Heart Church.

Ogham Stones are rare in Northern Ireland and this is the only one in County Tyrone. It is marked with an ancient alphabet, thought to be the earliest form of the Irish language. It reads; 'Do Te Tto Maqi Maglant'. This refers to two males. 'Maqi' means 'son of'.
