The median lake of Fremamorta is truly enchanting, located at 2,380 meters above sea level and surrounded by rocks, under the majestic Southern Bresses Head, which reaches an altitude of 2,820 metres. This lake is located in a basin and, as the name suggests, is located between the Soprano lake and the Sottono lake of Fremamorta. There is also a wonderful view of the valley below.

The Fremamorta lake below, located under the Testa nord di Bresses, is a beautiful water basin accessible from the Gias delle Mosche, from Pian della Casa or from Valasco. From here starts a mule track very suitable for running that leads to the other lakes of Fremamorta.
