This is where the Sauer River, coming from the Vosges Mountains, flows into the Rhine. The estuary delta is a large floodplain with a wide variety of amphibians and birds – protected since 1997.

Cross the bridge to enter the Sauer Delta nature reserve. Even the view from the bridge is enchanting – old wooden boats bob in the water, swans are everywhere, and the Sauer Delta stretches out before you. 🤩👌

At the marked spot there is "only" the town hall. The more interesting village center, which is usually shown in the pictures, is somewhere else. I will make a suggestion for a change.
