Pronounced Bynol. Not much is known of this place. Unsure whether a mid age Castle or Iron age Hillfort. Impressive though. Pics don't do any justice to the scale of the place. Go visit and you'll see it differently

Technically a bridleway, but it's mostly smooth, traffic free tarmac... doable on any bike. If coming from the north head down a track to the left near the large pond to rejoin the road.

One of Wiltshire's lesser-known white chalk horses, the Broad Town horse was carved in 1863 by a local farmer, just above Littleton Farm outside Broad Town village. The horse can be seen from a considerable distance but, due to its rural location, you certainly have to know it's there to find it. The White Horse Trail, a long-distance footpath linking Wiltshire's chalk horses, runs along the track immediately below the horse.

An important RAF base during the First and Second World Wars, RAF Yatesbury now stands silent in the fields outside Cherhill in Wiltshire, on the edge of the North Wessex Downs AONB. The remaining buildings are Grade II-listed and the land has been returned to agriculture. As a byway goes right past the site, you can get quite a good view of several of the site's aging buildings.
