Beautiful beach in summer I personally love the fish and chips shop and the view. Nice place for some rest.

Passable at low tide only, no official path

One of Felixstowe’s best known landmarks, the Pier has recently undergone an extensive reconstruction. On offer are traditional pier amusements, a café / bar, ice cream parlour and classic fish & chips. Along the beach are some lovely beach huts, some of which can be rented if you're staying awhile.

Midway along Felixstowe's long promenade is the Pier. Good landmark to check your progress.
