Lake Savine is a unique sight; we saw it covered in snow at the end of September! If you're heading towards Colle Clapier or the bivouac of the same name, we recommend crampons (especially for the descent, which can be icy in some places). In winter, you may also need snowshoes.

If you've never been to the Mont Cenis Pass, even a day trip is definitely worth it. The landscape and its colors are marvelous, especially in autumn.

The view is breathtaking, with pastures dotted with cows, even along the trail. Be careful not to disturb them.

The breathtaking view will leave you speechless. There's a table and benches for lunch, and just below it is a charging station for e-bikes and mobile devices.

The walk is good at the beginning but the end is more complex before arriving at the alpine garden. Once you cross the reservoir you have the option of either going back up to the road or following the lake. If you follow the lake the path is very narrow and you should not be afraid of heights!🥶 However the view is magnificent.

Lac Blanche is the older brother of Lac Noir which is located further down, Lac Blanche is bigger, more beautiful both for its colors and its outline and from here you can see Fort Malamot which dominates a little higher up. It can also be reached by mountain bike due to the presence of the road.

Fort built in 1889 at an altitude of 2850 m to monitor the Mont-Cenis pass and the Italian border. Only traces of the enclosure and the ruins of the defensive barracks remain.

Lake Mont Cenis is an artificial basin near the pass of the same name, on the border between Italy and France. In summer its colors are enchanting, and walking here, among the singing of the marmots and the crisp mountain air, is truly relaxing.
