Durdle Door는 영국 남부 해안의 도싯(Dorset) 카운티에 있는 자연 석회암 아치입니다. 유네스코 세계 문화 유산인 유명한 쥐라기 해안(Jurassic Coast)에 위치해 있습니다. 이 바위 아치는 수백만 년에 걸친 침식 작용으로 형성되었습니다. 파도와 날씨가 더 부드러운 암석을 침식시켜 석회암에 특징적인 아치 모양의 구멍을 만들었습니다.

해안 도로에서는 맨오워 해변(Man O’ War Beach)의 아름다운 전망을 감상할 수 있습니다. 절벽으로 둘러싸인 작은 만은 더들 도어(Durdle Door) 바로 옆에 있으며 맑은 물과 독특한 암석 지형이 인상적입니다. 특히 높은 곳에 있는 길 구간에서는 해안 풍경의 멋진 파노라마 전망을 볼 수 있습니다.

A wonderful area. Breathtaking views of the cliffs and the sea; it's worth coming here for hiking and, in the summer, definitely for swimming. I recommend staying at the nearby Durdle Door Holiday Park.

Built to commemorate Queen Victoria's 50 year reign. The clock tower was unveiled on 31 October 1888. Historic England described the clock as being a "florid but characteristic enrichment to the sea-front" and "boldy coloured". It is built of cast and wrought-iron and set on a Portland stone base.

It stands pretty much in the middle of the promenade, the clock as a reminder of Victoria's anniversary. It is huge (the clock) and so big, I hadn't imagined it. There are lots of benches and cafes around it, and in summer you can also rent deck chairs on the beach
