The hiking trail through the Schneeberg Railway tunnel is a special section of the route. While the cogwheel railway disappears into the tunnel below, the path continues above, offering beautiful views of the valley and the Schneeberg massif. It's an exciting section of the trail that combines technology and nature in a delightful way.

St. Elizabeth's Church on the Schneeberg was built in 1901 and is the highest church in Lower Austria. Located right next to the Schneeberg cable car station, it is dedicated to Empress Elisabeth ("Sisi"). It is a special place that combines culture and the mountains and offers impressive views.

The Damböcksteig is a popular climb up the Schneeberg, leading up to steep forest and meadow paths. Along the way, beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains open up repeatedly. A varied climb that requires fitness but rewards with alpine flair.
