Known as one of Cornwall's prettiest inland villages, Veryan is famous for the round houses, built n the 19th century by the vicar. Houses were sometimes built with circular walls so the devil couldn't hide in the corners.

Owned by the National Trust, Carne Beach is easily accessible from the road and footpath (no steps). There are toilets here as well as a coffee shack and a big car park, plus an easy walk up to Nare Head in the east on the coast path.

Stunning panoramic views atop Nare Head. There is a nuclear bunker underground here which is open to visitors a few times a year.

Far off in the distance you can see Dodman Point. While the much closer rocks jutting out into the ocean are Caragloose Point.

Look west to Portloe and you can easily see why this small walled area of land was created. A watchman was stationed up here to spot smuggling activity, which was rife in this tiny harbour. The vantage point here would have given a very clear view of everything that was going on.

Great place to sit a moment before the long climb back up the hill

Found tucked away along the coast path, the Hidden Hut is a lovely place to refuel and enjoy some sea views. The food here is absolutely delicious - they have great vegan options (including cake!), too! Well worth a visit. http://www.hiddenhut.co.uk/

Great place if you did not know it was there, you drive by it, they have been fixing the road out of Portloe its going to be great. Visit. It may be off the beaten track, but its great.

Just before you go down to the Porthcurnick Beach, there's a great viewing place to take Photos, here are some attached. Also a local Resturant Called the Hidden Hut is just 150m from this point of taking these photos, also great walks into Portscatho that's another Highlight. Enjoy

This is a great little Hotel to visit for lunch, light lunch or Cream Teas in the Afternoon. The dinner menu is also good all are welcome if your passing by. Family Hotel, Pet Friendly Rooms if your dog is with you, or if your biking by go on in for a visit, or A Swim & Lunch indoor pool.
