The riverside village of St Clement is seeped in history. Enter the churchyard via the rare lychgate and admire the painted (not stained!) windows. There is a tea room in the old vicarage so it really is worthwhile to spend some time exploring.

Cornwall has many stunning churches peppered about its exceptionally rural countryside, hidden in valleys, sat atop hills and nestled in hamlets. St Enoder church is one such building, with Norman remnants and weathered stone. It sits on the sit of an earlier Celtic chapel and the church was extended with a nave later.
