11월 23, 2024, Little Petherick Creek Bridge
This historic bridge spans the Little Petherick Creek. It's an old stone structure with a traditional Cornish design, and the views as you cross it toward Padstow and over the water toward Brea Beach and Rock are spectacular.

10월 23, 2024, View of Bedruthan Steps
This section is more beautiful than the Apostles on the Great Ocean Route. And far more accessible - the SWCP is a great trail, and part of the route at the top is ok for wheel chairs.

9월 21, 2024, View of the Bedruthan Steps
The Bedruthan steps is a wonderfully scenic stretch of rocky coastline and sandy beach. The cliff top views from the South west Coast Path are great. Some of the beaches can be accessed at low tide via steep paths. The National Trust manage this area of coast and run a cafe.

Great view of the beautiful bay. If I come here again, I'll try to find the way down.

6월 16, 2024, Bedruthan Steps Rock Formations
The steps have probably been closed for a while, as have all beach access at Porthcothan Beach. It's hard to tell from the highlights. The panorama is gigantic, but unfortunately there is no swimming break...

10월 31, 2023, Bedruthan Steps
According to legend, the huge granite rocks are stepping stones for the giant called Bedruthan. It is best to run here at low tide so that you can also drop down onto the sandy beach below. At the National Trust car park you will also find toilets and a shop.

10월 11, 2023, The Camel Trail – Padstow Section
The section of the Camel Trail between Padstow and Wadebridge is 5.5 miles long and can be walked in either direction. The views of the Camel Estuary are fantastic. The trail follows a disused railway line and in it's entirety is 17 miles long from Padstow to Wenfordbridge. It is a shared used path for walkers, cyclists and horse riders and is largely flat.

10월 11, 2023, Little Petherick Creek Bridge
An Iron Bridge spans the gap over Little Petherick Creek and gives a glimpse into the Camel Trail's past life as a railway line. The railway opened in 1899 with this bridge being the final piece of the puzzle connecting Wadebridge and Padstow. The trail over the bridge has been updated to accommodate walkers and cyclists from its original narrow wooden path.

10월 11, 2023, Minnow Islands
Take a moment to enjoy the spectacle of these islands. They were created when soft rock was eroded away, leaving these hard volcanic outcrops and stacks still standing.

10월 11, 2023, Porthcothan Beach
Like so many of Cornwall's bays, what looks like a small beach at high tide opens out into a huge place when the tide goes out. There are lots of rock formations to explore at low tide with a smaller inlet to the south west also opening up to become part of the beach when the sea is out. Do check tide times carefully though before walking along the beach so you don't get cut off by the rising water.
