Greenaway beach accessed by steps is a must to stop off at on this walk. It is so peaceful and the views and scenery are stunning. Deep rock pools and secluded sections. Great for a picnic or a sunbathe or just to sit for a while. Absolutely beautiful sunsets here too.

While Polzeath can get very busy, a short run will bring you yo Pentireglaze Haven, a secluded and quiet spot on the South West Coast Path.

A run up to Pentire Point will fill you with panoramic views, south towards Polzeath and Padstow and east towards The Rumps.

Polzeath is a popular Cornish beach with a wide sandy bay and often good surfing conditions. It has everything you need from cafes and shops to freshwater showers.

A certain sadness surrounds Port Quin. In the 19th century all the men from the small fishing port were lost at sea. The women and children who lived in the village abandoned their homes presumably due to having the the culture of the time meaning they were relient on the men's incomes. Port Quin is sometimes known as 'the village that died'.

Daymer Bay is a great spot for swimming if multisport is your thing. It is backed by sand dunes and stays relatively sheltered. It's a much quieter place compared to Rock and Polzeath and makes a lovely run destination from either of those coastal towns.

The tidal estuary feels just like the ocean, especially when the tide is out and you can hop onto the little beaches. From here you can look across to Padstow and Gun Point. There is a ferry service between Rock and Padstow, should you want to go and explore more.

The path up here is not for the faint hearted. Well worth it though fantastic views.
