St James' Church as you see it today is a 15th century building but it incorporated parts of the earlier Norman church. The Norman church would have dated back to around 1180. It's grade 1 listed.

The market hall was built in 1627 to provide a shelter for traders. In the 1940s it was almost sold to an American, but the local people raised enough money to buy it instead and gave it to the National Trust to preserve. This is the start of the Cotswold Way. A 102 mile (164 km) National Trail from here to Bath.

A beautiful village with several places to eat and drink whilst you re-fuel and watch the world go by.

The church was built in the early Perpendicular style.

A lovely walk with changing and interesting views and scenery, starting and finishing in picturesque Chipping Campden. Recommended

A Grade II Listed Building. Former barn, then chapel, now store. C18. Converted C20 to chapel by Lawrence Johnston. Left and right gable ends ashlar, facade squared limestone, wall to road brick with limestone quoins. Roof pitch facing road artificial stone, limestone slate on opposite side. Flat coping to gable ends with roll-cross saddle on right and ashlar bell turret on right. Single unit formerly 2 storeys. Facade has single 4-light trefoil headed hollow chamfered window, under segmental stopped hood. Unpainted, studded, reused plank door with cover strips and decorative strap hinges, right, in 4-centred arched doorway with hollow, moulded architrave. Large east window with 3 cusped lights and perpendicular tracery under segmental stopped hood. All windows have diamond leaded lights. Steps up right gable end formerly to door, now blocked, with projecting, porch with limestone slate roof supported on wooden uprights. 3-light flat chamfered, stone- mullioned window also. Interior: C20 roof with arched brace resting on corbels with collar above brace. A few panes of re-used Medieval window glass in all windows. National Trust property.

Dover's Hill, to the North West of Chipping Campden, provides beautiful views over the Vale of Evesham. The Baker's Arms in Broad Campden provides an excellent alternative to the pubs in Chipping Campden.

A lovely Cotswold town that doesn't seem quite a popular with the tourists as others. Lots of pubs and cafes... antique shops and other interesting things to see.

The views extend as far as the malverns and the flat plains of Warwickshire.

Standing at 856 feet (261 m), Ebrington Hill is the highest point in Warwickshire. From the summit, you can see Birmingham’s skyline to the north and the grand ridge of the Malvern Hills to the west. The hill is topped with radio masts and pleasant crop fields.

St Lawrence's is a picturesque parish church with a distinctive tower in Mickleton village. The Grade I-listed church was built in the 12th century, the west tower was added in the 14th century and the chancel was added in the 15th century. Inside, you can observe a Jacobean pulpit, a 12th-century stone crucifix, and a 17th-centuy octagonal stone font.

Lots of carvings on the old beach trees, watch out for the UFO and Alien, and this one from the First World War.
