Perfect little place to refuel, volunteer run community shop and cafe. Not barista coffee if that's your style, but perfect in every other way... cake, tea, benches, plenty of space for bikes, other snacks for the road, friendly people :-)

Another great gravel track that works well in combination with the bridleway next to the power station.

An amazing location for a church. Looks like the perfect place for a castle, perched on its own hill. Would back up other people's comments. It's a great place to stop for a break and take in the views across the Severn Vale... there are a couple of benches in the churchyard and a tap just inside the main gate.

Along this section of trail, you get a fine view over the Severn Bridge in the distance crossing the Bristol Channel between England and Wales. It is a nice stretch of riverside walking, too.

Lovely village community shop. They do cake, coffee from a caffetiere and there are bike racks outside!

A historic pub on the banks of the river, the Anchor Pub is a cozy place to stop for a rest. The pub serves a full menu including famous putcher pies as well as traditional ales. In summer, the sunny garden opens and locals play boules. Bear in mind that children are not allowed in the bar area. The Achor is open from 11.30am - 2.30pm and 6pm - 10.30pm Monday - Thursday, 11.30am -11pm Friday and Saturday and Sunday 12pm - 10pm.
