Don't miss the holy well - downhill behind the church to the North East. Source of the River Stour and full of folklore about the martyrdom of St Kenelm. The church was also doors open at 11am on a Monday. The tympanum above the door and the wooden screen at the altar of the Last Supper are the things most of interest. Plus a couple of nice stained glass windows.

Nestled amidst the enchanting Clent Hills, St. Kenelm's Church occupies the reputed location of St. Kenelm, King of Mercia's martyrdom. For centuries, the holy well located at the source of the Stour River has been a hallowed destination for pilgrims and worshippers, tracing its legacy back to Saxon times.

Nestled in the serene countryside, this charming rural church occasionally opens its doors on days when services are not held. Within its walls, you'll find poignant memorials honouring the fallen heroes of World War I and World War II. The meticulously tended grounds make for a delightful visit, inviting you to explore their beauty and tranquillity.

Standing at 315 m Walton Hill is the highest point in the Clent Hills. It's a great view point and a good target for a running loop here.

The Four Stones were erected by Lord Lyttelton of Hagley Hall in the 18th century. Brilliant views over nearby Walton Hill and further towards the Cotswolds, Shropshire Hills and the Welsh Borders.

The Four Stones is a striking monument at the top of the Clent Hills. While they look prehistoric, they were erected around 1763 at the behest of an eccentric landowner. Nevertheless, the characterful stones are supposedly aligned with the solstice sunset and offer a magnificent view at all times of the year.

Some of the paths are very overgrown, watch out for nettles and brambles in the spring/summer
