Another example of a delightful little valley that descends from the nearby hills down to the river. Mainly grassland with woodland, it is quiet and peaceful.

The track that takes you through Yatton Wood and onto Perrystone Hill is a definite highlight, particularly on a day when the light is good. Good walking, fine trees.

Sadly the farm is boarded up, but the barns still seem to be in use. The little chapel is definitely worthy of protection.

The Perrystone estate has fine parkland with some majestic Oak trees, and the cattle are quite gentle too.

The approach to Hole in the Wall is a delightful little valley with some fine trees on the slopes above.

I would really like to see this after prolonged heavy rain, I would imagine it would be a nice little waterfall.

This low hill has enough elevation to give a good view south to the hills around Ross, with the Forest of Dean in the distance.

The view from the top of this little hill across to the village of Crow Hill with Ross on Wye in the distance caught my eye.
