Although the climb to this small chapel is short but challenging, it's worth reaching the top. It's a charming place with spectacular views.

Emblematic monastery from the 12th century, built at a time of repopulation of territories recovered by the Christians. Balaguer was conquered in 1105, but it was not until the middle of the 12th century that repopulation policies began.

The foundation of this monastery was done at the initiative of the counts of Urgell. It is located on the banks of the Segre River, in the plain before its waters.

On foggy days, if we reach the top, we will fall in love with the sea of clouds that we will see. The hermitage remains in good condition and is located near the town of Vilanova de la Sal. We can access by car, on foot or by mountain bike. There are no water sources in the hermitage, so we must go prepared.

The Balaguer bridge is also known as the Sant Miquel bridge. It crosses the River Segre as it passes through Balaguer, uniting the old and new quarters of the city.

The hill of the castle of "Formós" is located at the top of a tossal that governs the church of Santa Maria de Baleguer. On clear days you can see the first Pyrenean mountains.
