Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurde der Turm massiv beschädigt. Das Ausmaß der Zerstörung hätte jedoch noch größer sein können. So fanden die polnischen Behörden nach Kriegsende massive Sprengladungen im unteren Bereich, die aber nicht zündeten. 1948 wurde der nach Originalplänen rekonstruierte Turm erstmals wieder in Betrieb genommen. Bis in die jüngste Vergangenheit folgten verschiedene Restaurierungs- und Modernisierungsarbeiten. Heute verfügt der Turm über ein 1000 Watt-starkes Leuchtfeuer, das im Stile eines Blitzlichtes für 0,45 Sekunden aufleuchtet, gefolgt von einer 9,55 Sekunden langen Pause. Die Strahlkraft liegt bei etwa 20 Seemeilen, was gut 37 Kilometern entspricht. Zuletzt wurde der Vorplatz neugestaltet. Dort befinden sich in historischen Gebäuden ein Restaurant sowie seit 2015 ein kleines Wachsfigurenkabinett. Eine Zwergenausgabe des Leuchtturmes können Besucher im benachbarten Miniaturenpark besichtigen. Die Anlage zeigt originalgetreue Verkleinerungen aller polnischen Leuchttürme, der wichtigsten Touristenattraktionen und Bahnhöfe der Region, von einigen Schiffen und Seedenkmälern sowie von einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten des am anderen Ende Polens gelegenen Riesengebirges. Der Leuchtturm von Niechorze ist direkt an der 30 m hohen Steilküste gelegen und das Wahrzeichen der Ortschaft. Er wurde 1866 erbaut und ist insgesamt 48 m hoch. Er gilt als einer der schönsten Leuchttürme der gesamten polnischen Ostsee.
