It is a former Benedictine priory. It appears cited for the first time in 1068, although it is believed that the monastic community settled in the place much earlier. It seems that the monastery church was built between 1025 and 1050 by order of Guillem de Mediona, Lord of Corbera.

Inside the Gorgs de la Mola, this beautiful corner, where you can contemplate from within it, all the splendor that the Gorgs offer, goes unnoticed, although looking at it while I was soaking my feet, I had it in front of me and it caught my attention within an idyllic setting. You can still find beautiful corners like this.
