If you select this highlight for a bike route, Komoot will take you down a road with no access allowed, However, there is a track to the right that gives a good view of the reservoir. For the bike route there is another Highlight that takes you down a proper signposted road to the Dam. Both are extremely quiet and worth a look.

Curious geological formation probably formed 7 million years ago. It is a volcanic dome. Here you will find an information panel and the beginning of a route to the Mirador de las Cabras.

The reservoir Alfonso XIII or reservoir of Quípar covers an area of 216 hectares and is located 300 m. above sea level. It dams the water from the river Quípar that crosses the area in SW-NE direction. It can be considered one of the most important continental wetlands of the Region of Murcia, being home to a large number of aquatic birds. It was built in 1917 with the aim of avoiding the catastrophic consequences that the swellings of the river Quípar had for the Vega Alta of the Segura. It was inaugurated in the year 1918 by King Alfonso XIII. Sunset can give great scenery, see my photos.

Built in 1970, the Argos reservoir is located in the Sierra de la Puerta and situated on the Argos river, a tributary of the Segura. A beautiful picture while we ride along itinerary 6 of the Ciclosegura route in the Murcia region.

Located about 6 km. To the north of Bullas, on a farm and bordering on the west with the regional road from Bullas to La Copa, we find the Castle of Don Fabio, also known as El Palacete de la Fuente de la Higuera. It is a magnificent palace that is currently in a great state of abandonment.

Between the second half of February and the end of March, the Ciezana orchard has a special charm due to the beautiful natural spectacle that the flowering of fruit trees gives us throughout the territory of Cieza and always with the Atalaya mountain in the background.

Passage area for many road cyclists who are encouraged to go up to Los Álamos and the lavender fields. This monument was built on the outskirts of the town of Moratalla and it is a religious symbol that symbolizes the arrival of the Virgin and the Lord on the pilgrimage.

Historical bathing place in summer, it is located just 1.5 kilometers from the town center. The beach is in good condition, since through the Environmental Volunteering program it is cared for by volunteers. Here you can interact with a wonderful nature

Very nice area to travel by road bike, with some unevenness, but affordable. It is located between Cieza and Calasparra, so it is a good area of passage to link both municipalities.
