There is very little shade on the entire circular route, only the last, short section in the gorge has shade. In summer it can get as hot as 40 degrees Celsius and then only the section in the gorge is recommended, not the circular hike.

A fantastic gorge with everything that goes with it: wild water, steep cliffs, tunnels that you can walk or drive through. It's very important to have a flashlight with you.

Tunnel that leads you to a very beautiful piece of nature. You don't expect to see this and see all the vultures flying around. The tunnel is not that long and can be done perfectly without a headlight.

The Sada Palace, located in Sos del Rey Católico, is known for having been the birthplace of Fernando el Católico. The palace dates from the 13th century, although multiple reforms were made over the years to expand it. Until the 19th century it belonged to the Sada lineage.
