Obrovac is a town on the Zrmanja River, 11 km from its mouth at the Novigrad sea. Above the town are the ruins of a fortified city. Its tributary, Krupa, attracts day-trippers and enthusiasts of rafting, canoeing, and kayaking. Near Krupa is a monastery with a valuable icon collection.
