Beautiful passage and panorama arriving at the Maslenica Bridge

Velebit is a mountain range in the coastal region of Croatia. Velebit forms a climatic barrier between the Mediterranean climate and the mountain climate in the interior.

Concrete arch bridge with a total length of 377m and a height of 65m.

Maslenica Bridge is located on the Adriatic highway D8 and leads over the Maslenica Strait. Total length 315 m and clearance height 55 m.

beautiful coastal trip

This is a part of the state road Jadranska magistrala E65 from Karlobag. Despite being a state road there is no much traffic (at least cars and trucks) here since most of the cars are taking a road that goes to Gospić. You will mostly see motocyclists. Every 300-400 meters there is a place to park next to the road so you can stop and enjoy the view. It’s a bit hilly but managable. You are riding along the coastline and the view is really magnificent with island of Pag on the opposite side.
