Great church. A visit to the church is also worthwhile.

The city of Mělník is certainly symbolized by the silhouette of the castle with the church of St. Peter and Paul towering above the confluence of the Elbe and Vltava rivers. This beautiful view is offered to us immediately as soon as we arrive in the city after less than 40 minutes from Prague. In Mělník we can drink good local wine, walk through the historical center or go on a boat trip. Whatever we choose, Mělník is a city where we will always be happy to return.

Mělník (German: Melnik, Mnelnik) is a town and municipality with extended jurisdiction in Mělník District in the Central Bohemian Region, thirty kilometers north of Prague. It is located on the right bank of the Elbe at the confluence with the Vltava, the historic center is located on a marl hill surrounded by the Pšovka stream from the northeast. The city has a population of approximately 20 thousand.

If you want to get to the other side, bridges are a good option. This one is also quite nice to look at, as it is a bit different. And it is well suited for cyclists.
