It's always lovely to spend time here – countless different bird species on and around this small island.

Before this special PEACE CROSS, I would like to offer the viewer, as a brief reflection, the very first words that the newly elected Pope Leo XIV addressed to the faithful from the balcony of St. Peter's Basilica – even before he bestowed the traditional blessing "urbi et orbi" (to the city and the world): "Peace be with you all! Dear brothers and sisters, this is the first greeting of the risen Christ, the Good Shepherd... I, too, wish that this greeting of peace may enter your hearts, reach your families, all people, wherever they may be, all nations, the whole earth. Peace be with you! This is the peace of the risen Christ, an unarmed and disarming peace, humble and steadfast. It comes from God, the God who loves us all unconditionally."

Unfortunately, the suspension bridge is not accessible; it has been closed for more than 4 years!

A small, striking street chapel (Lourdes Chapel) from 1911 (renovated in 1952 and 2011), located here in the center of Neufinsing, right next to the central street intersection opposite the town hall grounds.
