Pla de Manlleu is a small village in the municipality of Aiguamúrcia (Alt Camp), located at an altitude of about 600 m. The village is located in the middle of a plateau surrounded by vineyards, forests and dry fields, with wide views towards the Gaià and Montmell mountains. It is a quiet and rural place, with few houses, a central square and the chapel of Sant Miquel as a spiritual and historical reference point. It is a good stop or waypoint for MTB: the surrounding paths combine gentle tracks between vineyards with stonier paths that connect to Montmell or the mountains of Alt Camp. Pla de Manlleu maintains that discreet charm of small villages, where time passes slowly and the silence is only broken by tractors or birds. A good place to regain strength before continuing cycling.

A fantastic stretch of trail that's completely cyclable, next to a stream with water, a field, and a beautiful stone wall along the entire route... definitely one of my favorite sections.

Once at the detour towards Sant Martí Sarroca the road is great and quiet with gentle ups and downs.
