The route to the top of Sant Jeromi is one of the most popular on Mont Serrat because the views are spectacular. On a good sunny day you can see both the Catalan Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea. Sant Jeroni is the highest peak of Montserrat with a height of 1,236m. At the top we can see a geodesic vertex built in 1977.

A really epic climbing spot: You can get to the top with your climbing buddies by multi-pitch. Various routes with different degrees of difficulty from four upwards make the multi-pitch possible even if you are not an absolute climbing professional. The view from the top of the surrounding mountains and down to the monastery is indescribable.

Near the summit there was a hermitage (later converted into a restaurant), a chapel (still standing) and the top station of the Sant Jeroni Aerial Funicular, now closed, at Mirador del Moro. Lookout from the summit of Sant Jeroni in the 1920s At the top we can find a geodesic vertex (reference 280115001) It is considered the highest peak (the "ceiling") of the counties of Bages and Anoia. This peak is included in the list of the 100 peaks of the FEEC.[2]

Sant Jeroni is the highest peak of the mountain of Montserrat, with a height of 1,236 [1] meters. The summit of Sant Jeroni is at the confluence of the boundaries of the municipalities of El Bruc in Anoia and Marganell in Bages.
