Sacred place of San Francesco d'Assisi, silence and peace reign supreme, stupendous panorama. Absolutely worth seeing, you can get there by car but you can appreciate it much better by arriving there after a trek.

In the first plain of the Auro valley, where the stream begins to relax and unwind, stands the village of Parchiule, 600 meters above sea level. Parchiule is in a point where many paths start, it is located along the Strada della Luna and from the center it is possible to take simple routes such as the Sentiero della Natura or more complicated ones, such as the 390bis, which leads up to the Alpe della Luna.

The peaks of Rocca and Rocchetta form a mountainous complex characterized by the presence of sedimentary rocks and sandstone rocks. From this composition derives the characteristic layered and sloped appearance. This conformation is visible above all on the southern slopes of Poggio della Rocca.
