The short section, the ramp up to the dam, is definitely from the last century. But from there, you have a beautiful view of the sandy banks of the Loire. Simply indescribable!

Sometimes a bit monotonous, but the bike path is well paved, so you can also enjoy the scenery. I saw figures in the trees along the path.

The cycle path on the dam is sometimes a bit "tough". The views of the Loire radiate tranquility.

Simply a great spot – a beautiful view of the Loire. The wooden statues are original. A lovely bike path!

Great and the locals are welcoming

It is worth doing the route through the towns instead of following the Canal because here we can sleep and rest in a place exclusively for cyclists. You can camp and by obtaining a code you have access to showers, tables and kitchen. When paying it is essential to write down the code because it does not print it. It is fair to pay the little it is worth since it is a small town that pays for its maintenance and has invested in the building.
