There are marked routes along its banks, such as those that pass through Las Moreras Park, with garden areas, playgrounds, and waterside paths.

La Cistérniga, a charming municipality just five kilometers from Valladolid, offers a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here you can breathe fresh air on the banks of the Duero Canal. Its history dates back to the Copper and Bronze Age, and has witnessed curious events over the centuries. La Bañista: A 21st century sculpture created by Belén González. It emerges from the ground in the Plaza Mayor and serves as a play area for the little ones.

The Cerro de San Cristóbal is located between Valladolid and La Cistérniga. It is 843 m high and is a good viewpoint of the city of Valladolid. It is one of the examples of the "witness hills" - isolated hills in a flat area.

From Pico del Águila (846 m) we can enjoy privileged views of all of Valladolid.
