Small refuge located at 1,510m within the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. It is reached by a forest track with quite a steep slope, suitable for mountain biking. It is a good stop to rest, eat or spend the night if you are doing long routes like Cavalls del Vent. It has basic services: bunk beds with mattresses and blankets, showers, dining area and kitchen. If it is open, it offers half board; if it is closed, it can be used as an emergency shelter. It is not a spectacular place, but it is useful and well located if you happen to be passing by.

The Niu de l'Àliga Refuge is located at an altitude of 2,500 meters at the top of Tosa d'Alp, in the municipality of Bagà. This refuge is an iconic building at the highest point of the La Molina ski resort and offers spectacular views of the Cerdanya valley, Ripollès, and Berguedà. It is a privileged spot to enjoy sunsets and moonlit nights. The refuge has capacity for 27 people and offers services such as a cable car, blankets, showers, mobile charging, Wi-Fi, a bar, and a restaurant.

Refuge that is located at the top of the protected area of the Vall de Madriu and that gives us beautiful views of the valley when working towards the bottom of the valley.

Accommodation and catering options on the "Cavalls del Vent" tour. The building looks "sophisticated" from a distance, but it is a bit old and the hut itself is quite simple.

This refuge is the newest one along the Coronallacs trail around Andorra. The rooms all have incredible views, the refuge has WiFi, accepts cash only and it's 1 Euro per minute (shower tokens). The evening meal is 3 courses and was brilliant (black pudding soup, pasta bake and chocolate mousse). I slept in one of their 8-person dorms. Beneath the hut is the original 'bothy' (unstaffed room) which is still in use.

Starting point for various routes such as Puigpedros or Estany de Malniu, if you have the chance, try the refuge cake, amazing!

This small refuge, is in fact an unguarded and self-managed hut. It offers shelter from bad weather but has no electricity, no mattresses and no more running water (but this runs in many rivers nearby). This refuge is located in the heart of the Madriu-Perafita-Claror valley. the current refuge was built on the former Illa free refuge and can accommodate up to 50 people. You will find all the equipment there (bunk beds, mattresses, showers, toilets) and can enjoy a catering service.
