The last church before the long journey up into the mountains and through the forests there.

What a fortress. It has survived everything. Well, the tower may have collapsed at some point or was built later. That's why it doesn't really fit. In front of the church, as it should be, is the village square with a fountain.

Again, many building styles and building materials mixed. Probably happened through expansions. Now we are in the area where the church towers are very narrow. So that they can just about carry bells. And storks love to build their nests on the ledges.

In Belorado. I don't usually choose a hostel as a highlight, but I can recommend this one unconditionally. And so close to the center. The owner is called Joaquin. Like me.

Beautiful little town - as the name suggests. With great hostels and a large Plaza Mayor, where you can find many restaurants. The town is impressive because of the many paintings on the houses, but this is another highlight. Because these paintings cannot be found on the Plaza Mayor.
